This course is designed for people who want to operate a forklift safely, legally, and with confidence.

Get Your Forklift Certification with Practical Training

A forklift license is required if you want to operate forklifts in Denmark. Our 7-days course gives you the certification you need – and the skills employers are actually looking for.

You will learn:

  • How to operate a forklift safely and efficiently

  • Load handling and stability principles

  • Daily inspection and maintenance

  • Workplace safety and accident prevention

  • Relevant rules and regulations

NB: As a Ukrainian citizen under the Danish Special Act, you can get your biometrics features recorded, and can hereafter apply for residence permit and be granted this course for free (if approved by your local Jobcenter). You will also be able to use this certificate when returning to Ukraine.

When you have completed the course you need to take a final test to get your forklift certificate B. We prepare you for the tests during the 7 days of forklift training at JUUL. Once you have been on this exciting 7-day course and have passed the test, you will receive the AMU course certificate.

Practical and Hands-On Training

During the course, you will have plenty of time to practice your skills using a small forklift. We start by teaching you how to drive and operate the forklift safely. Then you will learn how to handle different types of goods, including proper loading, unloading, and stacking.

In our practice area, you will work with a variety of items such as barrels, pallets, and water tanks. You will train both indoors in our large warehouse and outdoors, giving you experience in realistic working environments.

Safety First

Safety is an important part of the training. In the classroom, you will learn about potential risks, how to read load diagrams, and how to work safely with forklifts.

You will also receive basic training in first aid and firefighting, so you are well prepared for your future job.

What can I do with a forklift certificate?

If you get a forklift certificate B, you will face a lot of exciting job opportunities in the transport and logistics industry among others. There are many companies that are looking for new employees who can operate a forklift.

With a forklift certificate, you become an attractive employee at:

  • warehouses

  • harbours

  • airports

  • construction sites

Several freight haulers also require that their drivers can operate a forklift.
